Summer Wells disappeared from her home on June 15, 2021. Her family was upstairs and at the front of the home. Summer had gone indoors to the basement where the basement door is located at the back of the house. Extensive searches have been and continue to be done of this mountainous area. Investigation continues by TBI, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation in congruency with local law enforcement agencies.
